Sir Patrick Bijou has spent more than three decades building an international career in investment banking, global finance, entrepreneurship, publishing and philanthropy. Throughout this time, he has worked with financial institutions, private investors and businesses, advising on structured finance, international trade, Private Placement Programs and bespoke funding solutions across international markets.

As Founder and Chairman of Blackhorse International, Sir Patrick provides strategic leadership to an organisation specialising in banking instruments, international trade and structured finance. Alongside his business interests, he is also an established author whose books explore global finance, wealth creation and Private Placement Programs, sharing knowledge gained through decades of experience within international banking and investment.

Beyond his commercial career, Sir Patrick is committed to philanthropy and believes that investment and enterprise should create lasting value for society. As Patron of the New Empowerment Initiative–Sierra Leone (NEI-SL), he supports programmes centred on clean water, education, vocational skills development and sustainable agriculture, helping communities build stronger and more sustainable futures.

Today, Sir Patrick continues to work internationally across finance, investment and business while dedicating significant time to charitable and educational initiatives.
